Despite an ongoing global effort, the number of individuals infected with HIV/AIDS has reached epidemic proportions across the globe. Lack of education, lack of quality resources, difficulty in obtaining medications, and widespread misinformation about this deadly virus are all contributing factors to this worsening situation. The face of AIDS is everywhere, and its devastation reaches far beyond the affected individual.
HIV/AIDS affects us all.There are more than 40 million people living with HIV/AIDS all over the world and more than 11 million of those are aged between 15 and 24. Most don't know that they are carrying the HIV virus.
Although there is still no cure for HIV/AIDS, we can all do something to stop the spread, protect ourselves and make the world a better place for those living with HIV/AIDS.

The goals of this group is to:

1.Improve the public knowledge about HIV/AIDS.


2.Promote attitudes and practices that prevent the transmission of HIV.
